First, I would say the chances of me winning the lottery is the same as being struck by lightning. So it’s basically the furthest thing from my mind. But let’s suppose that despite all the odds I luck out and I happen to win the big jackpot of five hundred million dollars. What would I do?
See, when I was little I used to fancy myself being so rich I could have any material things I wanted. I also used to draw the drafts of how my big mansion would look like. And of course, as a kid the thing I found the most important was I could show off to my friends. But of course I changed my mind. I was like five by then.
If I struck it rich, I would try to keep it the quietest as possible and begin doing subtle changes in my life. I would try to keep it from changing so drastically. I wouldn’t blabber. However, I would only tell the people I can trust, like my parents. I would not go crazy buying houses, fancy cars or trendy clothes. Because most importantly, I really wouldn’t like to live in such big houses and drive expensive cars. Yeah, that’s true!
I would spend half of the money traveling. It’s my dream to get to know different places. I really wish I could know every place there is to know on Earth! Because that way, I could know different cultures and learn different languages with little to no effort just by living in a place that language is spoken for a couple of months.
