Electric cars
Allegedly, it appears to be that electricity is a green energy, without smoke. It doesn’t pollute our homes and our cities.. On the plus side, it can be produced in sustainable way by renewables sources as wind or light. Therefore, we think on it as the ideal replacement of fuel in the cars. The air quality will increase.
That not withsanding, we must tackle the problem in every aspect, because I think that only the perks are seen.
First of all, how will we will produce this energy? Wind mills are a good idea, where there is a strong wind and many desertified areas, which are good for no other purposes. However, they can spoil the landscape. How much surface of those is necessary to supply energy to a city such as Zaragoza or Madrid? As for solar panels, it is the same question.
Secondly, distribution of electricity means a bigger network. The current one doesn’t suit supply, in the event that the vehicles get electric all of a sudden. That means more pylons, more wires…
Last but not least, we have to face the issue about car batteries, wich are made up of chemical products. As well as we are running out of fossil fuels, will not have a shortage of lithium and ion? Furthermore, how we will recycle the waste. Are we prepared? Perhaps we are only moving the problem from fossil fuels to chemical waste. Is it less polluting?
Now, we are in time to anticipe every issue and work out a sustainable solution.

Electric Cars
Allegedly, electricity is green energy, so it doesn't emit smoke. Therefore, it won't pollute our homes and cities. An advantage of electricity is that it can be produced using renewable resources like solar energy or wind energy. Because of that, we view it as the ideal replacement for fuel in cars. Air quality will also improve if we switch out fuel for electricity. However, we have to look at both sides of the spectrum, because I feel that we only see the good parts.
Wind
mills are a good idea, where there is strong wind and many areas experiencing desertification, which are good for no other purposes. However, they can spoil the landscape. How much surface of those is necessary to supply energy to a city such as Zaragoza or Madrid? As for solar panels, it is the same question.
Secondly, distribution of electricity means that we need a bigger network. The current one won't be able to suit supply, in the event that all vehicles become electric. That means more pylons, more wires…
Last but not least, we have to face the issue about car batteries, which are made up of chemical products. We are also running out of fossil fuels, so we might have a shortage of lithium and ion.
